This equipment may be installed in the wet-end as well as the dry-end of the process line to detect the presence of foreign magnetic and non-magnetic metallic contaminants in the rubber. The supply is complete with a Belt Conveyor. During operation, the Conveyor will automatically stop and simultaneously sounds the alarm whenever the presence of the contaminant is detected.
This machine is basically a surface grinder fitted with an inverted cup shaped grinding stone directly mounted onto the electric motor and is suitable for any grinding work. Special grinding fixtures may be supplied for the sharpening of Rotary Cutter / Granulator knives in sets thus ensuring absolute accuracy. For the polishing of Extruder / Pelletizer die plates, a magnetic chuck is supplied.
