The 2-roll Mixer Mill is a versatile machine that is commonly used for the mixing and preparation of rubber compounds. The machine is supplied with chilled cast iron rolls complete with lubrication and cooling system, motor drive and speed reducer. A wide range of roll sizes is available with diameters ranging from 160mm to 560mm and a selection of roller speeds and friction ratio to suit most applications.
The Kneader, sometimes also referred to as a Dispersion Mixer or "small" Banbury, is used for the mastication and plasticization of rubber and plastics under high pressure and controlled temperatures in a completely sealed condition. An advanced design in angle of rotation and blade overlap ensures excellent material dispersion. Blades and rotor end-face are all hard surfaced and all surfaces in contact with the raw material are plated with hard chromium. The machine is supplied fully assembled with mixing chamber, tilting device and pneumatic control system mounted onto a common baseframe.
This machine is used for the compression moulding of rubber or plastic material. It is sometimes also known as "Daylight Press" and is suitable for the shaping and vulcanizing of high density and high precision rubber products with complicated structures. Other features include high production capacity, low noise level, efficient ventilation system, precise temperature control, multiple compression settings in the hydraulic system and automatic input and removal of moulded product.
